Our trip begins along the Andes Mountains until reaching the Chacabuco Monument, where one of the battles for Chile's Independence took place. Then, we will pass through a tunnel that serves as a regional boundary, to find a beautiful view of Mount Aconcagua (the highest in the southern hemisphere). Later, we will visit the old Trasandino railway line.
Upon arriving in Portillo, we will discover how the man built some sheds to avoid the avalanches that occur in winter.
